ROLL-UP INSTALLATION MAT FITTED WITH ROLL-UP TUBE, SUCH AS A SEAL TUBE, AND FLOOR EQUIPPED WITH SUCH MAT, AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH MAT
The invention relates to a roll-up installation mat provided with a roll-up pipe, such as a sewer pipe. In particular, the retractable pipe of the installation mat relates to drains or sewer pipes that are present in a building such as a house or office. This concerns both dirty water drainage (vsw) and rainwater drainage (hwa). Such sewer pipes are often processed in or under the floor. The roll-up tube can also be used for mechanical ventilation and guidance ducts for other pipes and cables, possibly with insulation.
It is known from practice to install (sewer) pipes, which are also referred to as drains, under or in the floor of, for example, a house or office building. The installation of this is usually carried out prior to the installation of underfloor heating. These sewer pipes are placed during construction or renovation under often not optimal working conditions and such installation is relatively labor intensive. In addition, an optimal position of these sewer pipes is not always provided. entails additional material costs, which can also lead to sub-optimal drainage.
An object of the present invention is to eliminate or reduce one or more of the aforementioned problems.
The invention relates to a roll-up installation mat comprising:
- a rollable carrying mat adapted for placing it on or in a foundation of a building structure;
a floor heating pipe attached to the carrying mat, and
- a roll-up tube attached to the carrying mat suitable for, for instance, water drainage, the tube comprising:
- a box profile of a rollable material;
one or more mold fixation elements adapted for holding the tube in a state of use, the tube being arranged for transferring a flat transport and storage state to a state of use.
The provision of a tubular profile of a rollable material ensures that efficient transport and storage of the pipe, such as a sewer pipe, is possible. The tubular profile is made, for example, from a polyethylene, for example an HDPE, LDPE. It will be clear that other types of materials suitable for forming a roll-up box profile can also be used. The box profile is designed in such a way that it extends from at least in
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195 substantially flat or compressed transport and storage state can be transferred to a usage state. In this operating condition it is possible to pass a liquid flow through the box profile.
Because the tubular profile of the rollable tube is manufactured from a rollable material, a relatively large length of the tubular profile can be transported in an effective manner. The transport is therefore to a considerably lesser extent limiting for the maximum length of the box profiles. For example, it is possible to manufacture lengths of, for example, 50 meters from one single piece with the retractable box section. As a result, the number of couplings that must be applied in practice can be greatly reduced. This reduces costs and labor time, and additionally reduces the risk of leaks due to incorrect coupling.
By providing one or more form-fixing elements, it is possible to fix the box section after transfer from the flat state to the state of use.
The retractable pipe that is part of the retractable installation can be used for both dirty water drainage (vsw) and rainwater drainage (hwa). Due to the position of the roll-up tube on the installation mat, the roll-up tube is processed in or under the floor. The retractable pipe on the retractable installation mat can alternatively also be used for mechanical ventilation and guide ducts for other pipes and cables, possibly with insulation.
By providing a roll-up carrying mat, in particular a mesh construction that can be arranged in a substrate, such a carrying mat for an installation mat is relatively easy to store, transport and, in practice, simply by rolling off the carrying mat. . According to the invention, conduits are provided on the carrier mat prior to placement of the carrier mat. This makes it possible to install the pipes in a factory prior to transport to the relevant construction site where the underfloor heating is to be installed. This allows production under controlled conditions. This also reduces the risk of errors during installation. After all, such errors can have major consequences if this were only discovered after pouring the floor or even applying a screed or top floor. This avoids that cold spots can arise, for example, due to a non-optimal positioning of the pipes on site. This enables better conditioning of the building in which the installation mat according to the invention is used.
The roll-up of the carrier mat can optionally be carried out both lengthways and widthways. It will be clear that the choice can depend on various factors, including dimensions, suitability of machines, transport options and the like.
By installing pipes on the carrier mat, it is possible to provide several sections or parts on a single carrier mat. These sections concern, for example, separate rooms in
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195 a building. Sections can be divided into subsections of parts of the installation mat that can be placed next to each other in the same space. Dimensions can be adjusted to this. For example, it is also possible to work with a smaller width of, for example, 1.0 meter during the production process to manufacture installation mats that are, for example, adapted to kitchen dimensions. This further increases the flexibility of the installation mat according to the invention.
By providing one or more form-fixing elements, it is possible to fix the box section after transfer from the flat state to the state of use. Preferably, use is made here of a plastic deformation element which is plastic deformed after the transfer from the flat state to the state of use and thereby fixes the shape, a lid which can be placed wholly or partly over the box profile in the state of use in order to fix a shape therewith , a coupling element with which tube profiles are mutually connected and also fixed in shape and / or a ridge, which is also understood to mean a pin element, with which a coupling can be made between walls of the tube profile which are thereby fixed in the desired form of use.
Preferably, such a coupling element or ridge is provided on the inside of the box section. With this, a shape fixation for the roll-up tube can be effectively realized in the state of use. An example of such a coupling is a hinged door catch that is used in practice for a caravan door. It has been found that it can be used effectively as a form-fixing element. It will be clear that according to the invention it is also possible to use another suitable form fixing element as an alternative or in addition.
In an advantageous preferred embodiment, electrical cables are also attached to the carrying mat in addition to underfloor heating pipes and (sewer) pipes.
Because the roll-up installation mat in such an embodiment according to the invention contains a combination of underfloor heating pipes, (sewer) pipes and electrical pipes, it is possible to effectively carry out a large part of the installation work. All mentioned pipes can be applied to the carrying mat under controlled conditions. Optionally, pipes for the internet, telephone, television and the like are also provided on the retractable installation mat according to the invention. With this, the aforementioned advantages and effects can be further enhanced and extended to these additional pipes mentioned.
The provision of a retractable carrier mat ensures that it can be effectively transported as a whole to a customer and end user. This allows efficient storage and transportation. If desired, it is possible to provide multiple rooms or buildings with underfloor heating mats that are supplied on a single roll.
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195
The carrying mat can preferably be cut with a hand tool so that it can be carried out effectively by a mechanic or other user. This makes it possible to adapt the carrier mat and the pipe attached to it to the space if necessary during the installation work. For example, it can be adapted to a corner of the room or installed around a pillar of a building.
In an advantageous embodiment according to the invention, at least a part of the pipes and tubes laid on the carrying mat is provided on either side of the carrying mat.
By providing separate pipes and tubes on both sides of the carrier mat, they can be installed in one desired pattern in one go. This prevents crossing pipes, for example. A further advantage can be obtained with a combined heating and cooling system, in which heating pipes are provided on the up-facing side on the carrying mat in use and cooling pipes are provided on the down-facing side in use on the carrying mat. This is particularly advantageous when applied to intermediate floors or storey floors. This makes it possible to use the mat both as underfloor heating for one room and ceiling cooling for the other room.
It is noted that, according to various embodiments, the pipes can partially overlap each other or even be completely aligned. This is particularly advantageous in combination with a mesh-shaped support, such as a metal mesh or a plastic mesh, since the pipes can then be easily attached to the carrier mat together, by jointly attaching the pipes to the mat at positions where they cross / overlap. , for example by means of a braiding machine, a “tacker” device, a “tie-wrap” device (English: “cable tie gun” or “cable tie tool”) and / or the use of a Velcro machine, which preferably uses Velcro from a roll with a double meander version is used.
In an advantageous embodiment according to the invention, at least a part of the pipes is pressed off.
Each of the conduits can be extorted by providing the ends thereof with a suitable shut-off valve so that the extortion medium, such as air or water, is retained in the conduit. The conduit is preferably pressed off with air, for instance compressed air. Pressing the pipe with air does not increase the weight of the pipe by pressing. Because the pipe is filled with air and is closed off, the pipe will not dented as quickly in the rolled-up condition of the floor part. This allows a relatively long floor part to be rolled up, without the pipe in the rolled-up condition being damaged by the weight of the rolled-up package. The pressure testing medium can be designed in various ways, such as pressure testing caps or sealing caps.
The carrying mat is, for example, a mesh construction which, on the one hand, is stable enough for carrying the pipes arranged thereon and, on the other hand, flexible enough for winding and cutting thereof. In a presently preferred embodiment, the force required is that
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195 the carrying mat must be exercised for cutting less than 500 N, preferably less than 300 N and more preferably less than 100 N. A so-called side cutter or middle cutter can be used. The material of the carrier mat is, for example, a metal with a wire thickness of 1 to 3 mm. The mesh size of the carrying mat is preferably in the range of 5 to 20 cm, more preferably the mesh size is about 15 cm.
In a presently preferred embodiment, the carrier mat is provided with a mesh or grid structure comprising longitudinal wires and width wires with a diameter in the range of 0.5 to 5.0 mm, preferably in the range of 1.0 to 3.0 mm . It has been found that the use of such diameters provides a practically rollable carrying mat and a sufficiently stable and rigid construction after installation. Preferably, the diameter of the longitudinal wire is smaller than the diameter of the width wire. This improves the ability to roll up the carrier mat for storage and transport, while maintaining stability and rigidity after installation. Alternatively and preferably additionally, the longitudinal wires and width wires are provided with slightly different material properties using different materials, including alloys. The longitudinal thread is preferably made thinner and softer than the width thread. This improves flexibility for storage and transportation and maintains stability and rigidity after installation.
The metal is, for example, a galvanized metal, such as galvanized steel or galvanized iron, or a galvanized metal, such as galvanized steel or galvanized iron. Alternatively, use can also be made of a plastic carrier mat of, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, chlorinated polyvinyl chloride and / or plastic foil such as polyethylene foil. The carrier mat can be designed as an interrupted carrier or in a presently preferred embodiment as a mesh-shaped carrier. Further alternative materials are also possible according to the invention, including rubber, textile, bamboo and / or reed.
In a further advantageous embodiment according to the invention, the installation mat is provided with an insulating layer.
The properties of the installation mat with regard to heat and / or cooling efficiency are further improved by providing an insulation layer. For example, in the case of underfloor heating, such an insulating mat can be attached to the underside of the carrying mat. This directs heat and / or cooling to the desired side of the underfloor heating mat. Preferably, the insulating mat can be rolled up and is pre-attached to the carrier mat under controlled (factory) conditions. If desired, it is also possible to apply the insulation mat during installation.
In a further advantageous embodiment according to the invention, at least the underfloor heating pipe is provided with an enlarged loop at the location of a transition to a subsequent subsection of the carrying mat, and the carrying mat is located at the location of the transition
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195 can be cut and folded, such that after installation two adjacent subsections of an underfloor heating and / or cooling are connected by the extended loop to a continuous and continuous pipe.
By providing a cutable and foldable carrier mat, it is possible to cut sections, in particular subsections, of the mat such that part of the mat can be folded over. For example, it is possible to cut the individual wires of the carrying mat that extend in the longitudinal direction at a specific position, with one wire possibly remaining intact. Furthermore, this one wire can be bent, so that the remainder of the carrying mat can be folded over, as it were, in particular related to a substantially flat surface of the mat, so that the mat can be laid in a simple manner.
By providing the installation mat according to the invention on or near a transition to a subsequent subsection with an extended or extended loop, this folding over of the carrying mat can be carried out without the pipe having to be cut or otherwise interrupted. Such an extended or widened loop is also referred to as a flip over. With such a reversal plus, the pipe remains a continuous, contiguous pipe, whereby no additional couplings need to be fitted. Because no couplings have to be fitted, the installation mat can be installed in a relatively short time. In addition, this enormous reduction in the required couplings provides additional cost savings in material costs. In addition, by reducing the number of couplings, the risk of leaks due to an incorrect coupling is greatly reduced.
By providing an extended loop or folding surplus at the location of a transition, it is extra clear for a mechanic or other user of the installation mat how the mat should be placed in a room and where the load mat should be cut and possibly folded. turn into. This gives an additional check on the correct placement of the installation mat according to the invention. This is made possible in particular by preferably making the underfloor heating mat specific to a specific building, to specification. For example, in the case of a house or apartment, it is possible to measure the individual rooms that need to be provided with underfloor heating, or even to send the construction drawings directly to the production location of the underfloor heating mat, so that the installation mat can be manufactured to specification. As a result, the underfloor heating mat can already be produced directly with the desired dimensions, so that the required work can be further reduced. This further enhances the aforementioned advantages.
The invention furthermore also relates to a floor provided with an installation mat in an embodiment as described above.
Such a floor offers the same advantages and effects as described for the rollable installation mat.
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195
The invention furthermore also relates to an apparatus and method for manufacturing and / or providing an installation mat in an embodiment according to the invention. In addition to providing a device for manufacturing such an installation mat, the method comprises the following steps:
- determining the dimensions and configuration of the installation mat;
- reading in the determined dimensions and configuration;
- supplying underfloor heating pipe, carrier mat and pipe, such as a sewer pipe, to the device;
- applying pipes and tube to the carrier mat according to the dimensions and configuration; and
- removing the carrying mat from the device.
Such an apparatus and method provide similar advantages and / or effects as described for the installation mat and / or floor.
In an advantageous embodiment, the method comprises the following steps with regard to reading in a certain size or configuration:
- supplying the installation with the desired specifications of the intended location where the installation mat is to be installed; and
- determining the desired production schedule with a number of sections and / or subsections with the desired dimensions and configurations.
By supplying the desired specifications, for example in the form of an Autocad drawing, a prefab installation mat can be effectively realized under controlled conditions. Preferably, a production schedule is determined here, with which the various sections and subsections can be effectively applied to the carrier mat by the device.
According to the invention, a prefabricated installation mat is subsequently transported and applied at a desired location in a building, for example a house, apartment or commercial building. This application preferably comprises positioning the installation mat in or on the substrate, cutting and folding the installation mat near the transition and laying it in a different direction. This allows the installation mat to be placed effectively in the building according to the invention. The above-mentioned advantages are thus effectively realized.

Underfloor heating mat 2 (Figures 1A, 1B) comprises a mesh 4 as a mesh material on which first conduit 6 and second conduit 8 are fixed by means of tie wraps 10. In the longitudinal direction of carrier mat 4, lines 6, 8 are arranged at mutual distance L and in transverse direction of mat 4 at mutual distance D in bends 12. At transition 14 between first subsection 16 and second subsection 18 there is additional or extended or extended loop or fold over 20, wherein first line 6 and second line 8 are brought closer together than at distance D. On the side edges of carrying mat 4, optionally free strip B is provided. Optionally, insulating mat 21 is provided on the underside of carrier mat 4. In the embodiment shown, insulating mat 21 is provided with first part 21a and second part 21b, which are divisible at transition 14.
In the embodiment shown, tube 102 is arranged, as is electrical conduit 104. Electrical conduit 104 is preferably designed as a flat conduit, optionally with plug or coupling 105. Tube 102 is provided with coupling piece 106, which is formed as a kind of sleeve with an outer part around rectangular tube 108. pushed. Outer part 110 can herein be placed over rectangular tube 108, whereby coupling part 112 is slid into the interior of tube profile 108. In the embodiment shown, coupling piece 106 with a decreasing internal diameter is provided in a flow direction S, thereby reducing the risk of leakage. In the embodiment shown, an alternative coupling 116 is provided for connection to a hose or drain 114 of, for example, a kitchen sink. A connection to the roll-up tube 102 can hereby be provided in an effective manner.
In the shown embodiment, mat 2 is provided with first subsection 16 and second subsection 18 which are divided at transition 14 by cutting mesh parts so that subsections 16,18 are separated. Cut mesh connections 22 in one embodiment comprise an outer cut mesh connection 24. In the embodiment shown (Figure 1B), inner mesh connection 26 is left intact and is bent into bent mesh section 26. Subsequently, first and second subsections 16, 18 are folded relative to each other in direction A in the plane of mat 2 so that in the embodiment shown they extend parallel to each other. As a result, the individual tracks of subsections 16,18 do not have to be coupled, since first line 6 and second line 8 can run through. This is made possible by bending additional loop 20, the distance C between two adjacent placed subsections 16,18 in the embodiment shown being partly determined by the length
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195 of bent mesh connection 26. This means that separate couplings for first line 6 and second line 8 at transition 14 are not required. The optional insulating mat can move with parts 21 a, b subsections 16, 18.
It will be clear that the configuration of pipes 6, 8, 102, 104 according to the invention is preferably effectively provided on carrier mat 4.
Rolled-up installation mat 402 (Figure 2A) shows a rolled-up carrier 404 with conduit or lines 406 mounted on one side and optionally insulating mat 408 on the other side. Installation mat 402 may preferably be rolled in both lengthwise and crosswise directions. Tube 102 and electrical conduit 104 are also provided. In an alternative embodiment, mat 502 (Figure 2B) is provided with coiled mat 504 with pipes 506, 508 fitted on either side, optionally provided with optional insulating mat 510. Pipes 406, 506, 508 may be arranged in a meander configuration, cochlea configuration, or other configuration not shown.
Roll-up tube 102 can be stored, transported and supplied in a flat state (Figure 3A) with side walls 118 and top / bottom 120. In a presently preferred embodiment, tube 2 is in use condition provided with a rectangular flow-through section. It will be clear that other embodiments according to the invention are also possible.
Various form-fixing elements are possible by placing pipe 102 "upright" from the flat state to the state of use. It is thus possible to design the material of tube 102 such that a plastic deformation (figure 3B) occurs, whereby the shape is fixed. It is also possible to position lid element 122 (figure 3C) over walls 118 in order to fix the shape of tube 102 therewith. In a further alternative embodiment clamp or strap 124 (figure 3D) is provided. Clamp or strap 124 can be provided as a strap or ring over tension strap or the like. In a further alternative embodiment click elements 126 (figure 3E) can be provided which function as a kind of door catcher in a caravan embodiment. It will be clear that combinations and / or alternatives are also possible according to the invention.
If a building is to be provided with an installation, preferably also suitable for cooling, the method 702 (Figure 4) first of all comprises designing 704 of an installation mat with a number of sections and subsections. To this end, the specifications and other required data are read in step 706. This reading can be done on an automated system that is operatively connected to the installation or on a decentralized system that is capable of controlling several installations itself and, if necessary, with a logistics planning. to make. The reading is done, for example, by reading Autocad drawings of the relevant building, after which the production schedules are made, and the mat can be made in production step 708.
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195 are optionally supplied with the additional loop 20. After production, the underfloor heating mat is stored and transported, preferably on a roll and optionally in the pressed state in step 710. The mat is then placed on the relevant construction site in step 712, with on-site in positioning step 714, the mat is cut and folded where necessary. An installer / user can make use of the visual landmarks that are placed on the installation mat with the aid of additional loops. After positioning the underfloor heating mat, it is connected in step 716 to other parts of an installation system. This connection has been considerably simplified with a mat according to the invention, because the number of couplings required has been considerably reduced. After connection, commissioning follows in step 718.
Machine 800 (Figures 5, 6) includes a roll 802 for feeding a mesh-shaped support mat 804. For the sake of clarity, the grid of the support mat 804 is not shown in Figure 6, but the support mat 804 is actually mesh-shaped.
The carrier mat 804 is guided from the feed roller 806 to two conveyor belts 808a, 808b. Optionally, a guide roller 810 is provided to guide the carrier mat towards the conveyor belts 806a, 806b. The conveyor belts 806a, 806b are provided with studs, so that the studs can hook into the meshes of the mesh-shaped carrying mat 804, in order to transport the mesh-shaped carrying mat 804. The carrying mat 804 is transported by the conveyor belts 804a, 804b in the direction of the arrow P, after which the carrying mat 804 is rolled up on a roll 812. Optionally, a guide roller 814 is provided on this output side. The guide rollers 810, 814 contribute to keeping the carrier mat 804 on the conveyor belt. Similarly, tubes 102 and electrical leads 104 can be provided. The operation will be explained below with reference to line 816.
The first line 816 is supplied from a roller 818. Above the carrying mat, a rail 820 is arranged along which a carriage 822 can move back and forth. The carriage is provided with one or more diverting rollers 824, 826 which position the conduit 816 on the carrying mat 804.
The machine 800 additionally includes a tie wrap device, or braiding machine (not shown) or Velcro machine (not shown) where, for example, lines with Velcro are placed on a Velcro carrying mat around the line 816 passing through the deflection rollers 814, 816 in transverse direction. the carrier mat 804 is laid to be attached to the mesh-shaped carrier mat 804. For example, the tie wrap device or the braiding machine is also provided on trolley 822. Alternatively, the tie wrap device or braiding machine can also be located on the other side of the carrier mat 804 relative to the trolley so that the Attach conduit 816 to the mesh-shaped carrier mat 804.
2019/5195
BE2019 / 5195
Thereafter, the carriage 822 moves in the opposite direction to place a new portion of the conduit 816 over the desired width on the support mat 804, the device fasteners also securing this portion of conduit 816 to the support mat 804.
The optional second conduit 824 for the floor board / mat is similarly mounted on the support mat 804.
In machine 800, the carrier mat 804 is conveyed horizontally along the fasteners. However, it is also possible to arrange the machine 800 (figure 6) such that the carrying mat 804 is transported vertically along the fasteners. Preferably in that case the fasteners, such as a tie-wrap device or a braiding machine or a Velcro machine, are provided on the trolleys 822, so that the pipes 816, 824 can be directly attached to the carrying mat 804 while the trolleys 822 the pipes 816 , 824 on the carrier mat 804. In the embodiment shown, at loop 826, the inner loop is automatically positioned closer to, or even placed against, the outer loop to allow folding at this position at a later stage, in a manner shown in Figures 1A, B. It will be clear that further process steps can also be included in machine 800 and / or can be provided in another alternative manner.
